In a land of rock and swamps, the 1860 Olden Pioneer Cemetary was located east of Mountain Grove on deep glacial till. The first roads into this area were built in the 1860's. Only the young, strong and healty would have move here in 1860, but they needed a cemetary right from the start. Life was tough then. by Steve Manders
