Dopiero w roku 1650, z fundacji ówczesnego dziedzica majątku, Franciszka Dębińskiego, wojewody krakowskiego, starosty wielickiego i bocheńskiego wybudowano nową, murowaną świątynię, konsekrowaną w 1675 r. przez biskupa M. Oborskiego. Kościół ten znacznie powiększono w 1864 r. - dobudowano nawę południową ( kaplicę św. Anny ), a w 187 by deszezm
