Yongmunsa Jaunru is the two-story pavilion in which Buddhist monks had secret meetings and civilian Buddhists made straw-shoes for the monk soldiers during the Japanese invasion of 1592-98. According to the records, this pavilion was first erected by Priest Jaeomdaesa in 1166, in the Goryeo Era. It was renovated in 1561, and again sometime between 1608 and 1623.
