Marmora train station. It was originally located 3 km. east of Marmora on highway # 7 and the Central Ontario Railway (COR) which ran from Trenton to an iron mine at Wallace. It was built in 1884 and was used for 100 years. The ticket office was on the left, the freight shed on the right. There were once as many as 24 trains through Marmora every day. by Steve Manders

The K&P trail is on public land, but is not maintained by any level of government from Harrowsmith to Sharbot Lake. Recreational roto-tillers (aka ATV's) have left their mark.
