Chiesa San Giuseppe.Secondo alcune fonti, che considerano gli aspetti delle linee strutturali simili alla Chiesa Madre, l’architetto potrebbe essere il Vaccarini o un suo allievo, uno dei tanti che operarono a Catania dopo l’eruzione del 1669 ed il terremoto del 1693. E’ certo comunque che le maestranze locali vollero nella Chiesa riproporre povertà, semplicità e luminosità, usando materiali poco pregiati ed infatti solo successivamente fu modificata la struttura interna grazie a donazioni dei d by Taoetna
